Powai Sunday is a concept that has come from making a gloomy Sunday as vibrant as the Friday. It is a periodic offering of vibrant pop-ups, cuisine, talks, walks, causes and lots more. It will be a daylong event. This is being along with Daan Utsav.
The highlight will be it is the first pet-friendly event where people can walk in with their pets, and along with food music retail therapy. The excitement doesn’t end here, there will be facilitation and acknowledging ladies from Powai under a special pageant. The event will have more than it promises.

All rentals at Purdue Fort Wayne require a deposit that is 50% of the estimated venue rental. The deposit is due upon receipt of the event contract from your event coordinator.
The balance of the venue rental and all equipment charges/facility fees are due a minimum of 3 business days prior to your event date. Labor fees and charges for items added during event will be billed after the event and are due no later than 4 weeks after your event date. Purdue Fort Wayne has the right to cancel your event if the rental balance has not been paid prior to your scheduled event date.

Nitesh is in the spotlight for producing films under his new production company, Big Guy Productions along with his friend and partner Vineet Sapru.

Shambhavi’s passion and dedication for Tarot cards was always limitless and the science associated with it has never ceased to enchant her. Learning more about Tarot cards and eventually growing in the process, she turned to be a perfect professional in the field serving clientele including the who’s who of business and media fraternity, corporate houses to housewives, students and anyone who seeks her guidance.
Climbing up the ladder of success Shambhavi made partners with big brands like JW Marriott, Renaissance, Oakwoad and Out of the Blue- Powai , where she facilitated in-house Tarot reading. Apart from these hotel chains, Shambhavi is also associated with corporates like Future group (Pantaloons), DLF, JLT , ORRA and Lavasa to name a few.
Shambhavi has also been a part of the prestigious ELLE Carnival, held in Mumbai to raise funds for breast cancer patients and has been written about in their magazine.
The Year 2016, was very rewarding for Shambhavi, where she saw her work being acknowledged and she being Awarded as Grand Master in Tarot Prediction by Inspire.She was facilitated by actress Divya Dutta in NSCI Club Worli in November. A fortnight later she was again accredited with a WOW Personality Award which is Winners of Worthiness, in Excellence in Tarot. Its been a very rewarding experience for her, and her journey continues..
Along with doing Tarot reading sessions, she regularly hosts educative workshops on topics ranging from colour therapy to Doodle to Vaastu and more imparting valuable information and knowledge to all in attendance at schools, corporate hubs, nature camps, social meets and other venues.
At 24, this dynamic youngster is a partner in a Financial Advisory and Information Technology firm by the name of Value Financial Bazaar besides leading IT Dept at his workplace. Food blogging is one of his hobbies. He runs a successful food blog called bigfoodieguy and a tech blog called compstrick .
A humanitarian has actively participated in blood donation camps, raising funds for blinds, HelpAge India.
A philanthropist at heart, Seema started out as a Copywriter learning advertising and marketing from the best and credits all her creative ideas to that initial training. Based in Mumbai for the last 15 years, she co-created and curated the first pop up event in Powai: The Powai Pop Up Bazaar in 2014. She then created a Whatsapp group called The Do-Gooders which helped in disaster relief collections, blanket drives etc but later was a springboard for the Food Bank. The Food Bank which outlines the menu and collects food for distribution to over a 100 street kids every Sunday, was her brainchild and has grown from a group of 13 to 250 members in Powai and spawned 9 other Food Banks in Mumbai Pune and Hyderabad.
Actively involved in the Robin Hood Army and Daan Utsav celebrations from 2016, she learnt how to scale up operations and maximise reach from both. The planning and coordination required for Mega drives, events and collections energised her into taking the next inevitable step and she formed her own NGO Manjhi Development Foundation for Skilling in June 2018.
A dual graduate in Hotel Management from IHM New Delhi and Johnson & Wales University USA, Abhishek started his career in the Front Office department with “Marriott International” and then forayed into the Food and Beverage department with Darden Restaurants Inc. Progressing upwards; he worked with “Darden Restaurants Inc.” in the capacity of a Kitchen Manager, Service Manager, Beverage & Hospitality Manager and eventually a General Manager. After coming back to India, Abhishek ventured into entrepreneurship with a quick service restaurant called “Parathe Sharathe”.
To get a better understanding of the Indian market, he started working with “Manchester United Café & Bar” and won the best GM for the company award on multiple occasions. Thereafter, he was briefly involved with “Masala Library” – a progressive Indian restaurant, considered to be a pioneer in Molecular Gastronomy space in India. Since 2014, Abhishek has been involved with “Ideal Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.” as a General Manager and is responsible for 2 brands namely – Aromas Café & Lounge and No. 101 (an all-day desi dining concept). In his current capacity, he oversees 9 outlets with a yearly top line of 30 crs. Brand Management, Daily Operational Excellence, Guest Relations, Budgeting and P & L Management, Business Development (New Location Identification/Demographics Analysis), Vendor Management, HO Operations, Brand Positioning and Marketing etc. are some of his key areas of responsibilities. He is presently engaged in rolling out a new concept called “The Butter Kitchen”.
His experience and background has equipped him with skills and knowledge encompassing a large gamut of the service industry including Budgeting, Business Strategy, Operational Process Excellence, Cost Controls, Policy Development & Implementation, Training, Core Service and Kitchen Operations and Vendor Negotiations.
Abhishek operates with the philosophy that Smart Management of Resources and People is the key to business profitability.
